A Dallas native, Shannon McAnally grew up in Rowlett, Texas, graduated from North Garland high school and obtained her Bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of North Texas in 2009. Shannon is a 23 year old licensed general contractor for her family's commercial construction company, MCC and Associates, Inc. and a marketing coordinator with Frontera Strategies.
Shannon has a strong passion for music, the arts, and enjoys working with various non-profit organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and the American Heart Association. Leisurely, she spends time with family and friends, keeps up with current movies and music, enjoys traveling, and manages her personal web site.
Shannon has been competing in pageants for nine years and has been the first runner-up five times pursuing the title of Miss Dallas USA and Miss Dallas Teen USA. Her philosophy on life of living without any regrets and never giving up has helped her finally reach her first goal on the path towards Miss USA. Shannon looks forward to representing Dallas at the Miss Texas USA 2012 pageant in Houston, TX later this year and aspires to give back as much as possible to the incredible city that she calls home.
